a pleasant overnight stay
short stay comfortable bed calm location
the room had everything i needed for a short stay. i did not use the wi-fi, so i cannot comment on it. the bed was comfortable, and i got a good night's sleep. i found the location to be very calm (i appreciated that).
the steps into the main building felt steep to me, and the staircase also felt quite steep. the room i had was large, so i would have liked the heating to have been on because it was not that warm. it was already winter.

the room included tea, coffee, and biscuits for my use. the en suite bathroom had a good-sized shower, and i found it clean. the room was generally tidy on arrival.

buses stop just outside providing access to the town centre. there is a convenience store located just around the corner. i noticed a chinese takeaway is situated across the street from the hotel.

safety information tired beds
the location was calm, acceptable.
I encountered some problems. no written or verbal information was provided regarding safety matters. i also did not see anyone again after my arrival. the beds seemed tired. The double beds rolled into the middle all night

The room was quiet. The room was located at the side of the house. On-site parking was available. I appreciated the tea and coffee amenities available in my room.
I noticed that there was no hairdryer available in the room.

The owner was friendly. The owner checked me in. I received leaflets for Indian takeaway. I was shown the kitchen in the basement where I ate supper with my daughter.
